5’8”, 125 lbs, long (mid-back) dark glossy black hair (held in a bangs + ponytail cut), fair skin, mid-set gray-black eyes, often in standard Sharingan state, long fatigue-lines down each side of her nose stemming from her eyes, modestly full lips, petite frame (athletic with some curves). Gracefully narrow and well-sculpted face—dark but attractive. Wears a female-cut Akatsuki cloak (floor-length black cloak with red stylized clouds with a nose-length collar) and a spandex body-suit and tabi-like shoes. Has medium (battle-capable) length nails painted dark purple. Silver tomoe earrings on each ear, metal headband with the konoha symbol (Stylized leaf drawing with a whirlpool center) with a thick slash through the center, red ring with kanji for “Vermillion Bird” on right ring finger.

Personality

Dark and intense with a tendency to only speak when absolutely necessary and when speaking, carefully chooses her words. Often found glaring despite approaching blindness due to overuse of her ultimate bloodline capability (stated below) Fiercely independent, though unfortunately found a need for assistance due to her deteriorating eyesight—intending to find solution to eyesight issues. Very goal-oriented and a genius with regards to insight, though when given the chance, proves to have a sadistically psychotic streak. Her goal is an odd one—to attempt to guide her brother to possess enough power to kill her and avenge their clan (that she killed in a single night when she was 13 years old). Loathes battle and chooses to end a battle quickly with as little actual fighting—instead of combat, she prefers to utilize her considerable ability with illusions and mind control to end a battle as quickly as possible.

Abilities, Talents and Powers

The full power of the Sharingan eye—a bloodline capability of the Uchiha clan that enables the user to have incredible insight capabilities including heightened motion detection (able to follow extremely high-speed subjects), instant jutsu (technique) recognition and replication, and a special mode that only she possesses: the Mangekyou Sharingan, enabling two techniques; Tsukuyomi, a technique that creates an unbeatable genjutsu (illusion technique) that creates a world that Tachiko has complete control over, allowing 72 hours to pass in a single second to enact any form of torture she chooses; Amaterasu, which creates black flames that can burn through everything. This power comes at a price—her eyesight deteriorates with each progressive use of the Mangekyou and it saps her strength completely if she uses either technique more than once a day. She has found it necessary not to use this ability save in dire situations. She is extremely talented in ninjutsu (ninja techniques) and taijutsu (fighting techniques) though she often chooses not to use them, or finds them cumbersome for her style of fighting, especially since she now lacks the eyesight necessary to utilize many of her techniques without forcibly returning eyesight via the Sharingan. Her knowledge of fighting strategies is perhaps her single most valuable asset.

Faults and Weaknesses

She has a callous and icy demeanor that endears her to very few—something she is fine with, as she is an extremely independent and aloof person who prefers to “go it alone” rather than work with a group. Her eyesight is deteriorating quickly, necessitating some level of assistance with basic necessities such as dressing and traveling around—something that she is abjectly bitter about. She cannot use her Mangekyou or standard Sharingan nearly as often anymore due to the strain it puts on her eyesight and body and she finds herself unable to fight as adeptly as she used to—she is attempting to compensate for her newfound shortcomings, but is finding it extremely difficult. Her bitter and brooding personality generates a sense of loneliness that she rarely communicates to others. She has a deep-seated desire for companionship, though she attempts to hide it and eliminate it, keeping her from receiving it, save for her only friend, Hoshigaki Kisame—a fellow member of the now-disbanded Akatsuki organization, who has since left to find his fortune on his own.

History

A rarely and fearfully mentioned name in her former home village of Hidden Leaf (Konohagakure no Sato), she is the eldest child of the head of the famed Uchiha clan—a family known for fire-based techniques and a fierce sense of justice that has led to their dominance in police activities and a strict organization and work ethic within the family. Touted as the genius daughter of Uchiha Fugaku, she was considered the show dog of the Uchiha clan for her incredible talent and early graduation from the Village’s Ninja Academy and promotion to ANBU (Konoha’s special forces unit) Captain, but denied a true childhood as a result of the training and use as a resource rather than a daughter. Her younger brother, Uchiha Sasuke was her charge as the older sister and acted somewhat as a second mother to him, playing with him often, though prone to sloth with regards to training him, gaining the younger Uchiha’s admiration and following her like a puppy. Her cousin, Uchiha Shisui, was seemingly a love interest for the level of attention she paid him, and she considered him her only true friend when her relations with her immediate family became strained. Her fierce independence and rebellious side surfaced, leading to an effective estrangement with her overbearing father. One day, Shisui was found dead in the river with a suicide note and oddly enough, the battle-seasoned Tachiko was stone-faced when met with this news—in reality, she had killed him after finding out about the Mangekyou’s one requirement—to kill the one closest to you. Following this event, the few relationships she had with her family became effectively severed, save for Sasuke, who became more of her replacement as poster child for the Uchiha clan. This move seemed to snap something in her. In a single night, she revealed her Mangekyou and proved its power in the most brutal of fashions—she massacred every single member of the Uchiha clan save for Sasuke, whom she cryptically ordered to “Learn to hate me and use that hatred to become strong enough to kill me,” and left after torturing him with Tsukuyomi. The 13-year old Uchiha then proceeded to leave the village as a renegade shinobi and join an elite corps of S-ranked criminals known as Akatsuki, whose goal was to contain the power of the Tailed Demons (Bijuu) of her world, having her come into contact with her only true friend—Hoshigaki Kisame, a renegade ninja from Hidden Mist Village (Kirigakure no Sato), with whom she searched the land on missions to find and capture the vessels for the bijuu (jinchuuriki) and extract the demons. During these travels, she killed many and discovered the price to the ultimate power of the Mangekyou—her eyesight. Only once did she enter her old village in the interest of acquiring the Kyuubi (Nine-tailed demon) and oddly asked not to fight with anyone who did not actively protect the jinchuuriki, seemingly displaying some vestige of loyalty to her village. When certain events occurred, Akatsuki disbanded and Kisame decided to leave to attempt to make it on his own, promising to someday return to Tachiko. After a near-defeat at the hands of her brother, she set the events for their final confrontation, but it never came--she doesn't know just what happened, but given where she is, she can only assume she was killed in her sleep that very night.
